A question about tights

Photo from Target.com

I've got them in black.

I've got them in brown.

Can I have them in colors? Is that allowed? If I promise my skirt will be much longer than this one? Is it business appropriate?

And, of course... the most dreaded questions. Am I too old? Am I too, gulp, fat?

What do you think? Do you wear them? Are they gross and I'm just too charmed by the bright, cheery colors to notice? Maybe it's because I am a child of the 80's and they bring back good memories.

So, bring it on. I can handle it. Love 'em or hate 'em?

I wouldn't wear them, but I am mostly a black & brown gal from October to March.

My neice told me that I am to old (30) to wear the capri-type tights. A little piece of me died that day.

I personally would avoid colored tights....but I wouldn't be opposed to patterned black tights, with perhaps an argyle knit to them.

what color were you thinking? A muted color would be ok, but it could also look like crazy cat lady who doesn't know navy blue from black......it just depends on the outfit, length of skirt, and shoes.

I always thought you looked great in them! I don't like the colors, though. You're definitely not too fat! But I think you should go for it-be comfortable.
I absolutely wouldn't wear them, but that's because I absolutey wouldn't wear a skirt! Ha!

I'm all for tights, and all for color! But I too am a child of the '80's. Personally, I think it's depressing to go downtown and see women all in black, white, brown and navy.

I have some hot pink ones. I've only had the guts to wear them once. I think they're cute, but you have to be extremely confident and have the right outfit and occasion to pull it off beyond a certain age.

For the most part, I stick with black, brown, and gray. They just feel much safer.
